Samsung Galaxy A12 Specifications and Reviews

Introduction
It’s the year 2021, and we already have S21 calls for Samsung’s top phones to update. On the other side of the Galaxy spectrum is the Galaxy A12 (12, not 21) - an entry-level handset designed to offer Samsung experience, on a budget.

Announced late last year and available since January, the Galaxy A12 is not the cheapest phone sold by Samsung - the Galaxy M02 gets that title. The naming of Samsung is a bit fy in the lower tier and it can be confusing what is between the A and M series but the A12 stays just below the M12, and above the M02s. Not all of these models are available worldwide so you may or may not be able to snatch the cheapest Samsung necklace for your particular jungle neck.

The Green A12 we have here is equipped with a 6.5-inch display and the results of budget issues are easy to see. It is one of the few LCDs in the OLED-led Galaxy line, and the 720p resolution is on the lower side of the diagonal scale. It’s a standard combination of size, technology and phase resolution, so the A12 isn’t well equipped, actually.

The Mediatek Helio P35 does the math inside the A12 and is also not particularly exciting. And, nevertheless, it is quite enough for a price point - you get an octa-core CPU and the chip is built into the process of making 12nm, so it has to be powerful and economical at the same time.

The setting of the quad camera in the background actually makes a strong case for the Galaxy A12 in its market context. While the use of two 2MP modules can be challenged (one for depth data, one for 'macro'), a large 48MP camera and 5MP ultrawide make for a beautiful tandem that is hard to find. An 8MP selfie camera complements the image in the photo department.

One last important thing - the Galaxy A12 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and that’s as much a 12nm high-resolution chipn battery with a 720p display, 6.5-inch as possible. We expect strong battery life numbers.
