Introduction
Not only the best iPhone, but also the one with the ‘biggest camera update’ - that could be this year’s iPhone 13 Pro, which we have at Max’s size. Joining those bigger and better cameras, we have a high-resolution display, a lot of battery, a mandatory chipset upgrade - the 13 Pro Max ticks all the boxes to upgrade everything that matters. We are here to see how much it costs.
Camera system development begins with a new main unit with a large sensor and a bright lens. The ultrawide module also plays a light, but autofocus lens - the first of the iPhone ultrawide. There is a telephoto now that offers advanced access up to 3x, even if the lens is slightly dimmed. Previously, things have always been the same, and no, a 20% reduction in notch size is not counted.
Finally offering market trends, Apple has introduced the 13 Pro and Pro Max with 120Hz displays - or, rather, ProMotion. It is a flexible, in theory that can vary in price values to reach all the way up to 10Hz to save battery. That can be added to a set of already beautiful screen features that include DolbyVision support, lots of light and excellent color rendering.
The 2021 iPhones all come with increased battery capacity, and in the case of 13 Pro Max, that's an 18% bump - 2.5 hours longer than last year's Pro Max on Apple metrics, or 'longest battery life ever on the iPhone' , and all that.

As always, the new year means an improved chipset, and in addition to the newly designed CPU cores and higher clock quality, the A15 to 13 Pros also comes with an additional GPU core over non-Pros. Slightly related, the 13 Pro Max can be specified for up to 1TB full storage - that can help iPhone filmmakers when no one else is.
